Street Memberships Now Available!!
MSSM Membership Application
You are invited to
join Main Street Stone Mountain, Inc. a private, non-profit organization devoted
to the revitalization of Stone Mountain Village. We are committed to assisting
residents, local business and property owners in enhancing their property
values, boosting their businesses, and promoting a healthy community where
people want to live and do business.
Through long range planning and with an
active membership, Main Street Stone Mountain, Inc. can help Stone Mountain
Village move towards its goals for the future. In support of our efforts, we
invite you to become a Main Street member. Numbers do count! When we seek
support for the village’s revitalization, we want city officials, legislators,
media, and public and private agencies to know the number of people who back
MSSM's efforts. |
Stone
Mountain Christmas Celebration
The annual
lighting of the Christmas tree in Stone Mountain Village is an exciting time
to bring out the family to enjoy the kickoff of the Holliday Season! After a
day of shopping at the malls come out to enjoy the personal feeling of a
historic downtown. Main Street Stone Mountain will be decorated and music
will be floating through the night air. Refreshment stands will be set up
to keep the whole family warm while enjoying the festivities. The Elf Corner
at the 5-Way intersection begins at 5pm. Kids and
adults will enjoy roasting marshmallows and sipping hot chocolate while
building up their holiday cheer. The newest addition to the Christmas
Celebration will be the Stone Mountain Market featuring Christmas crafts,
baked goods, and plenty of unique and quality gifts from which to choose.

Village Walk & Wine Tour
This unique
event is free to the public and highlights the wonderful restaurants, shops and
galleries in the village. Participating shops and galleries will offer a
sampling of various wines that are offered at the village restaurants as well as
discounts on merchandise. Taste wines from The Sycamore Grill, Bundos Italian
Market,
Continental Coffee & Sweets.. Participating stores and galleries include
Continental Coffee & Sweets, Sweet Honey House, Good Sense Fragrances, Stone
Mountain Old Post Office Antique Mall, Village Hair Studio
and The Cranky Princess.

Stone Mountain Market
This monthly Market will feature local produce, art and
regional handcraft items and will be held along Main Street, next to the
historic City Hall and Police Dept. In November, the Market will be open
on:
FRIDAY, Nov. 28, 2008 (4:00-9:00 p.m.)
SATURDAY, Nov. 29, 2008 (10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)

Dog Park Now Open!
The Dog Park is located
between Third Street and Fourth Street next to the path leading to Stone
Mountain Park. Parking is available at the Fourth Street MARTA lot or on
Main Street.
